I prefer to play GA for a lot of reasons. It's simply more interesting and the AI doesn't seem to ruin itself by constant attacks with steadily diminshing forces.
Can the GA game be modded? I'm playing Wes' Mod version .9 and it's great, but his fabulous mods are mostly geared for world conquest. I'd like to add to the GA game. Help?

They are hardcoded, in one thread (i dont remember wich) in the past one of the devs has stated that , i think it was discussion about the viking invasion wats goona be in the release. I think you can edit the homelands but i dont know how exactly...

Thank you, Hellenes. I should have figured that out myself, since no one has been working on GAs, and folks have worked on EVERYTHING. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Don't expect the patch to be a wonder. The only wonder is the patch its own self.

Old Bald Guy - i wanted to change GA too and so i posted the question how to do it - and i had about two repies, and as i remember they told me that you can copy some of the GA from one faction to another. How do you do this - i dont know, but I KNOW there are ppl here who know this. And if they would only be so kind and explain it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
GA's are one thing I want to add to the Medmod, but I would really like for someone who plays GA to take the lead in this, at least in finding out how to setup all the faction homelands. If someone would send me instructions on what to do, I could paste in the homelands in a couple of minutes.
Copying existing GAs for use in the mod's new factions should also be pretty simple to do once you know where the code is located.

Considering that I'm the target for any work vis GA for Wes' mod, and I'm still fighting to find out how this can be reworked.........
Anyone with even the vague beginning of an idea... e-mail me at Lzard2@comcast.net and I'll gladly share the results with all interested.
There has to be a way to do some mods to this.
Note: I'm still in the r&d phase here, so almost any comment will be welcome

This subject needs much more research, as while it seems like nothing has ever been done....
Well, some good minds have worked on this befor, just seems like it always ended in frustration, eh?
The subject really needs it's own thread, and if I ever get enough info to start psting about it, 'twill be done
