Hello everyone, I just joined the forum after browsing for the past couple of weeks. I originally found the site looking for people who might have had the same display problems I've been having with MTW and STW ( My display is really dark even with the gamma all the way up ) but isntead I found mods. After reading the mod descriptions post I got the medmod 1.85 first and it has really improved the game. I'm looking forward to BKBs' Super mod and also the Hyborean Age mod but I have'nt seen any updates on it so I hope it's still in production...I'm a big Conan fan.
Anyway just thought I would say hello to everyone and thats about it.

Did you ever get your dark display fixed?

Good questions about those mods. I've not heard anything about the Hyporean mod is quite a while.

Dark display is ongoing with no resolution in sight. From reading in the METW thread in the Alchemist Lab I get the impression that the Hyborean Age mod may be cancelled. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

could you change the colour setings on your monitor? Or could you change your contrast?

Scipio; The Hyborean Age mod is a mod based on the Conan world by a member named Knights that say Ni. You can find out more about it in The Dungeon-The Alchemist Lab under the title mod descriptions.

HandAndy; I can change the brightness, gamma and contrast in the desktop but for some reason my desktop settings dont seem to have any effect on my games.
