Holla,

Where can I find medieval artwork on the net? Picture, wallpapaer....doesnt have to be related with MTW, some battle drawings, some famous commander painting. Also where the hell can I find color versions of MTW's unit drawings?

In short I need everything on medieval artwork

There are quite a lot of good links, just use Goggle, this time it really works well, you should be content. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

There's a couple of things you can do.

I think the best is just to do a google image search. If you go to http://www.google.ca/imghp?t....8&hl=en (http://www.google.ca/imghp?tab=wi&q=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en) , google has a search engine for images. Just type in the name of the person/place/thing you want a picture of, and you'll usually find it. Do one for Carcassonne if you want a medieval city, Frederick Barbarossa, etc. The bad thing about this is that you'll have to check the site carefully to see if it is a genuine medieval image, rather than a modern one.

Professor Paul Halsall's site at the University of Florida also has links to many great medieval images, all of them geunine, according to his particular classes. Check out this link to his classes: http://www.unf.edu/~phalsall/

Choose a class, such as the Crusades, then scroll down to the multimedia section of each class. You'll find lots of links to great images.

BTW, I think those b/w drawing of the units in MTW are fantastic. A little fanciful, but super cool.

Hmmm... Thanks a lot. Actually I looked at Fordham University's medieval site, there is more info there but still no quality artwork..

Where can I find MTW's drawings?
