View Full Version : Changing faction's default colors
Is there anyway I can change the faction's default colors? I want to change France to blue/blue from blue/yellow.

In MTW 1.0/1.1 - No.
In VI - Yes.

Have a good read of this thread -

Before you start changing any of the paremters in the strtpos files, however, I'd take a copy of one of them and try any changes on that copy.

Sir Wellington
Good God I've just realised I've been promoted. I'm now achieved the lofty heights of Senior Membership (attitude and all http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif )
Jeez, the power .... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
Does this now mean I can be even more obnoxious whenever the mood takes me? Does it now mean I can liberally plaster my posts with well chosen obscenities and even, God willing http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif , on occasion, blasphematies (how the f**k DO you spell that word http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif )? Can I now rip into all and sundry with a demeaner that is not totally inconsistent with my new found status (well, Dubya does it - why can't I? )? Can I now whinge, whine, moan, complain and criticise with even more gusto? Can I offend Greg and Kukri even more, jump on their proverbial backs more often, and continue to ridicule their rather sickinging (and somewhat annoying) tendancies to be somewhat too nice too often? Will my continual verbal, but rather symbolic, stomach retchings be treated more sympathetically by suchlike?
My, my, my ... the potential ... such power ... the mind boggles. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
Oh dear. I've just checked the member board. Seems like this was a batch promotion http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif ...
... maybe I'm not so special after all http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif ...
... but you can still call me Sir http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
