This low profile act is not doing it for me.

I'm sure there is a ton to say.

Barkhorn.

There working hard on Rome I guesse, http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

I'm pretty sure they'll still read this forum from time to time.
But they probably won't answer questions that have been asked before, or could be answerd by the Forum members or the FAQ.

Sure ther could be tons of things to say, only those things are told to the game journalists http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif .

Still here. Still reading. When I see something that tickles my interest I do post... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

At the moment, though, we're rather busy doing this game thing that people seem to be rather keen on. Something or Other Total War. Begins with 'R'. It'll come back to me in a minute...

GAH

Roam: Total War

Take the helm as the leader of a blood-sucking wireless long distance company and vie for world domination. Can you say "Do you hear me now" enough times to make your adversaries go bonkers? Can you play the "rollover" game till your competitors roll over and stay dead? Many factions to choose from MP play lets you even play the banana-toting monkeys

Still here. But rather busy debugging the tech tree and making sure things work. And balancing, lots of balancing. On a log. In front of my PC.

I know nothing about the subject of any hypothetical next Total War game, and all your speculation and attempts to make us talk are futile...

... what's that?

(quick conversation with J-Rome)

... oh, apparently you know what it is.

BAH
Any coffee other than that grown on my family's farm isn't fit for consumption. Maybe I should get you hooked on my coffee. I stop there, no need to spam my coffee on the forums. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

How about a hint, a wink, a nudge?? THROW US A BONE MAN

So I do a little search and pull up two threads that deal with the topic of RTW sequels. Below is a rough and by no means all encompassing list of the most popular (and reasonable) sequel ideas put forth by fellow Org members. Here is a list of the most talked about/popular/speculated eras for the next TW installment (don't hold me to the order).

- Renaissance era
- Shogun II (highly unlikely don't you think?)
- Post Roman Empire/Dark Ages era
- Napoleonic era
- China/Romance of the Three Kingdoms era
- Early civilizations era (Egyptians, Hittites, Assyrians, etc.)

I don't know where I'd put my money but I'm torn between China or the Dark Ages with Early civilizations a close second.

Well Gil?? SPEAK MAN

I should explain that I was referring to the time earlier this year when I was cheerfully denying all knowledge of the existence of Rome. Nothing to do with any kind of sequel, sorry :)
