.org mainpage is down

Hey guys I think the mainpage is down. I have tried three or four different pc's and cannot download anything on the first page, except the header.

yep me too... i just stop the loading and do a reload and sometimes it comes up.. i think it is that snow...

works okay for me on the 56k modem. but on the other computer with a T1, it fails to load and requires refreshing a few times to do the trick. i don't know why, but my sense is those animated banners are probably responsible (when combined with the snow)

I think it is tera's new poll that is causing the problems; (either way let's blame him so that he fixes it faster).

Ok. I have to identify the problem first. There are 4 apps I installed lately:
1) The snow --->> week ago
2) The poll --->> week ago
3) an invisible counter --->> week ago
4) Jobs form which isnt on the mainpage ---> yesterday

Now... for me the mainpage loads perfectly. Sometimes it takes some time to 'get down' completely. But it's there... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/mad.gif

And the snow will be removed either today and tommorow anyway.

The snow = maybe its slowing the mainpage = might be it.

The poll = it's just text...lol...it can't slow it.

The invisible counter = well it's invisible anyway...nothing to load except commands to take the site stats...if the snow doesn't resolve the problem...I'll turn on it.

The Job form = its text coded in the page...it's not it.
