I am considering adding a Mill into MTW with the purpose off further enhancing the farming income of provinces. The mill would be directly related to the quality of the farmland and I think it would help with the no tradeable good areas in MTW.

Suggestion and feedback welcome. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

That's huge. Go for it. I hadn't thought about it until I just read your post, but mills were hugely important to medieval economies and would go a long way towards making trade imbalances less severe. You might want to think about giving it a little extra bonus for all the landlocked provinces since they never benefit from seaborne trade.

Nice idea It would help take some emphasis off trade which kinda gets out of hand once established and which the AI doesn't handle very well. Go for it

I really like this idea. When you are playing a Catholic faction, many times I reserve my attacks on fellow Catholic faction to ensure my naval trade routes are not disrupted by other Catholic factions that have turned on me by that papist bastard resideing in Rome. The Mill would be a great addition and would eliminate much of the need to naval trade. 80% plus a mill should bring in the florin http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Has anyone ever try to mod inquisitors so they can burn non catholics also ? If i remember the inquisition burn jews and christians alike (not just catholic).

Would like to fry those 9 stars byzantine generals before i start to invade their teritories.. hmmhm..

There is no way that the Roman emperor (called nowadays byzantine) would allow you to burn his generals because for any inquisitor puppet of the pope all the orthodox generals were heretics (and vice versa for the patriarh) so even if the orthodox general has 9 piety he would burn with 100% chanse of success by a noob inquisitor.
But the unit that could do this realistically would be the monk unit (equivalent to the western inquisitors) monks were very powerful in the matter of influence over the people they were many times challenging the states power if it was in contradiction with the beliefs of the church they couldt burn anyone BUT they could make the general very unpopular or even the emperor so they could be make in the game lowering the emperors or princes(for the pon or rus) influence or by making vices to the tried generals lowering the morale in the army...
But i think all the religius thing is hardcoded so we can only hope that the patch will decode some things... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

it sounds like a very good idea, and a real boon for inland provinces. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Now, how would you go about actually adding the building into the mix? Can that be done easily?

Agreed, excellent idea...I currently am playing medmod 3.09 which has its own alterations to income from lands, but a mill would be a great general addition http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Great idea I think they will have it in rtw or at least part of the landscape because in one of the trailers the barbarions are marching past a mill
