my 5 star assasin in naples has just killed 6 assasins that he believes were from a rebel general http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif

and i've just done a scan of nearly ALL their provinces and not one alehouse... hmmm anyone else ever seen that?

not really bothered but am a suddenly a bi tmore wary of rebel provinces that produce things they don't have the buildings for....

Yes, I've seen it, and asked the question just the other day. Apparently all rebel lands are one faction, and so the province sending the assasins may be far, far away from you.

I've seen them too. I think that the game may generate them automatically, the same way that it generates rebel stacks, factions are re-emerge, or you get a huge stack of units in a province that you lost a few turns ago but controlled for a long time.

i allways just figured that any faction that had assasins when they were illiminated, became rebel assasins until they died.
