I should say some of the footage is new and some is repeated, though the quality is better than the videos the repeat footage is from. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
The barbarian is repeated, but not really that much as we see something new I think.
The other two are great and new.
Go get them, they are well worth the time. THERE IS ORIGINAL SOUND http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
My only real complaints are that the romans are slashing with their gladius. It's a stabbing sword not slashing so that needs to be fixed. And also the hoplites are using the weaker underhand thrust with their spears instead of the historically correct and more powerful overhand thrust that the greeks used.

Agreed...

Well, they are not hoplites, they are Agema Phalangites. They look too much like the unit that is presented at the .com. And I wouldn't say that the overhand thrust is stronger. Eventhough I can personally hardly believe it, most sources have the hoplites charging with an underhand thrust. The reason for the overhand is so that the hoplite can get behind the shield of his opponent, it is too hard to do from below (spear would strike ground and so on).

awesome.
The game looks pretty far along though, why do we need to wait until Q3 2004 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif ??

Probably strategic AI coding and the diplomatic engines. Even though the graphic parts of the game may be almost ready we have no idea how much of the campaign AI is even close to ready.
Then you have the testing, which I don't think has even begun yet. Also gameplay balancing and debugging.
It seriously sucks, but it looks like the wait will be worth it.
