Possible to add heroes in MTW? [Archive]

Hi, I live in the stone age and I play MTW v1.1 base, without the Vikings expansion. I was wondering if someone could teach me how to edit or even better, create my own heroes for my faction (Golden_Horde) before I start the campaign. I did a search and only found instructions for VI, which I know can be very easily done with addhero or something, and VI has a hero.txt file which MTW does not.

Hmm well i read in another post that heroes are hardcoded. If that is the case then please let this post die, thx.
