Vanya has noticed something odd in the various Time Commander videos out there... When units rout, they seem to flee in a direction perpendicular to the enemy that is hacking them to pieces... and sometimes, even flee INTO the enemy chopping them up This running the gauntlet approach just gets them all killed

The question for the DEVS then is this: In RTW, are units going to flee a la MTW, where they run AWAY from their enemy, or are they back to fleeing like in SHOGGY, where they flee to towards their starting sideline at all costs, even through the enemy if they must?

Vanya likes the new MTW disorderly flight of the panic-striken.

So... how will units FLEE in RTW? MTW-like? Shoggy-like? Or a new algorithm not yet divulged?

I have noticed that not all the men run at the same time... It seems some men stand around a while longer when the others are fleeing around them.

i think that was two units in the same fight with one breaking before the other

Possible... quite possible.
But I don't think that. It looks very much like it is a rolling rout, meaning they rout over a period, not in two steps (or how many there are supposed to be units).

well, this was an important improvement brought by MTW. i hope the thing from TC is just one unfinished aspect for the moment.
