Map Pictures???

I have made map's for MTW VI but i cant display the tga image of it in map selection menu?The maps work ok but can anyone tell me where i need to put the tga files.Or how to display the picture in map selection?
I have only found info about Shogun total war concerning map editing.And this method does not work with VI (all i see is a grey flat map)when in map selection?please help if you can.

The maps you see on the campaign selection screen are located in Medieval-Total War/Frontend files/Faction Selection menu, but they are not in the TGA format these are bifs, as are the minimaps and minilukups located in Medieval/Campmap , you will need to make these bifs and include them in the proper folders for the map to work properly, I suggest you look into the LMM mapmaker utility, and the related threads ...LOS
