Has anyone noticed the rebel ships that seems to be in the new patch? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif
Where does these come from? Civil wars?

The rebels can actually build ships, and this was even before the patch, cant remeber if it was in MTW, but I think it was there then to...
The rebels in Greece and Contantinople start with ships when I played Byz during high period. This was pre-patch.
Rebel ships can come from several causes.
Starting with them, as noticed.
Civil Wars.
Troops defecting.
And rebels taking over with ships in production. But I'm not sure. I just seem to remember a province I lost to rebels once had a ship one year constructed and two years later a rebel ship popped out.

That explains the early rebel ship I saw. It is just weird, never seen those before and sees it twice in 2.01
Thanks for the info http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

It does occur to me now that in VI the rebels seem smarter and actually produce troops.. I observed this on, for instance, Crete as the Byzantines. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/redface.gif
