Hello,I successfully modded in six new factions ,but for some reason on my 27th(Kingdom of Jerusalem)The King unit comes up as a Boyar even though I have HighRoyal Knight as the faction leader unit. Ihave even changed Boyar as an Orthodox only unit(Kingdom of Jerusalem is a Catholic faction)but the Boyar is still the king unit on the mapI have changed the HighRoyalKnight to be available in the early era too.What gives?anyone?
the unit prod file,
there is a column which determines which unit is leader/king unit for factions,
you will find boyar is still listed as king unit for faction,
the game will use the first unit listed as king for faction it finds and ignore all others,

Yes,I know that column but Boyar is like the 25th entry as a leader unit.I've changed leader units for different factions ie;Irish get gallowglasses,Scots get highlanders.For some reason on my 27th faction(Fn_Free27)the leader unit comes up as a boyar and I'm specifying HighRoyalKnight.????? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

yes but as Barocca said, if boyar comes before highroyalknigh in the unit prod file then it will take that unit as the leader, go to the boyar entry and remove the entry for unit leader.
