i am considering making a mod if i get enough support on one of the three specific choices i will do that mod if i get enough support on number two i will make one of the three and the first one ill just continue trying to find ways around glitchs in MTW

First of all I think that a mod should be enjoyable. Making original game harder is hmmmm.. hard and can create ridiculous situations in the game (as you cannot make the AI smarter but rather determine some of its reactions).

Oh And one more thing about that Mayan/Aztec mod - many people wouldnt like idea of making it for the reason that there would be no cavalry http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif as there were no horses in pre-columbian Americas, and I think you wouldnt consider Aztecs riding lamas http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

well my idea was to have the spanish show up with ships and everything like the goldern hoarde

(spanish would be unplayable due to the unfair advantage of umm... everything)

also maybe we could have some mercenary units in the northern provinces and they ride mustangs and fight like a light cavalry also spanish will only have cavalry and guns other then maybe a unit called a conquistidor and they can be kinda like a mixed gun sword man.\
