is it possible to make a faction have a trade bonus so they get 10% more income from trading buildings ect

i wanted it for if i created my holland mod i would give their nation a 20% trade income bonus and i could probably use this in one of the two mods im considering making too

while you cant give a faction a trade bonus what you could do is use Ruler ID building advantage in the building prod file to give them trading posts/merchants at a 25% discount to build,
also add a few extra trade goods to their provinces, maybe make some unique high value ones,

also use the same column in building production file to give them cheap ports and shipyards,

and in unit production file
the columns ruler ID troop advantage, and region ID troop advantage can you really cheap shipping

i was just thinking maybe i could faction specific buildings. Such as a building called a "dutch trader" ect
these could get 25% more income then normal traders.
just an idea do you think it is feisable

well if its a virtue then it lasts one of two lifetimes and is also affected by vices a unique building is permanant

Where is the income that is generated by Merchants found? The Build_prod file has an empty column for Merchants. Farmland has "120,140,160,180". So where do I look for the Merchant income? Better yet how would you implement dessa14's idea about Dutch Traders?

I have just started looking at modding and adding buildings is one area that I don't really have an idea about.

well you would create a new building in build prod file change some other stuff as well to make it unique to your new faction known as the dutch and it would have a higher trade income

Yes I knew the bit about creating the building and making it unique, but where and how do I set the trade income for the building? Where is the Trade income found?
