Noob question on reinforcement

Ok, I'm new to STW, but I've been playing MTW for quite some time now. Question is: is there any way to get reinforcements other than swapping out for new units before the battle. the ref appaer when you lose a company our the routed leave the map is the only way that ref come(for me )

Yes, but I do remember there being quite a delay before the reinforcements would appear.

yep forget that part m8 they have to walk a little

Aim to win without them, they appear miles away usually and by the time they arrive they are a waste of time. You can withdraw, say an archer who is out of ammo but you have a long wait for a new unit

Thanx every body. I just played a test game and that seems to be right. I guess that the IA gets an edge there. I usually run into his reinforcements as I am chasing him off the map anyway.
