Although there ve been various attempts in the past i ve decided to try a mp campaign using the -ian command line.The method is described in the thread http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....t=12041 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=12041)
the period is high expert total domination (if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to express them) cause the ga mod requires all the factions 2 b human controlled. The reason behind high period is for its developed castles because if you put your troops in the castle iirc the PO (programmed oponent AI is a marketing trick) wont move them against your will when the turn ends.you can fight your battles with the PO and (if you want) we can arrange a mp simulation using the logfiles of that battle the outcome of mp battle will be put through startpos files.That all will be available at a LATER stage so now in the experiment mode will be only camp map movement and nothing more.(sorry http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif )my e mail is arxidamos2003@yahoo.gr

edit:note that if you want to play with po you have to do it OUTSIDE of the mp savegame the mp process will be WITHOUT battles after you play the battle send the logfile 2 me and i ll see what can be done...thats all is for the future when we ll have a proper tool or course...

One thing needs to be clarified. Which version is this? I presume it's 2.01, i.e. MTW VI with patch. Could you please confirm?

Oops, I can see my mistake. I zipped the file but then accidentally attached the unzipped while which was too large. I've sent the zipped fil now.

Cabzol the turn with the italian moves has beensent, also
a good suggestion (and addition of challenge imho)
would be to have siege eng buildings in any province
and if you do not want the PO to build anything just
put the ballista in the queu this will prevent the PO
building anything and since it takes 3 turns you can
cancell it next turn.

ps: unfortunately the PO can move out of castles
(although its Much more rare) what you can do is swap
the armies between the provinces and thus prevent the
PO from attacking against your will...

R: Princess found in Kiev on a mission to offer alliance to the Poles.

D: Build watch towers.
R: Watch towers built.

D: Train vikings.
R: Vikings trained.

Finances
Balance at the end of 1205: 8,000 florins
Projected profits: 291 florins
Cost of watch towers: 100 florins
Cost of vikings: 131 florins
Expected balance at start of 1206: 8,060 florins
Actual balance at start of 1206: 3,058 florins
Amount of money disappeared: 5,002 florins

All my commands were obeyed in 1206 and I only lost 20 florins to the wind. A great year indeed.

Cabzol i think that ive found a way of makin the AI NOT to interfere with the players decisions and probably (not tested but im quite shure) not to move pieces around..
The way is to delete ALL the preferances of various behaviours (catholic expansionist, ort def etc etc) from the crusaders file AND to make all the factions controlled by players REBEL in behaviour (its in the startpos) so they dont move around...
Ill come back later with test results.

The building restriction worked and the comp cant build without you ordring it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif HOWEVER after testing with with REBEL and POPE setting although more passive the PO cept kickin eachothers @$$...Is there anything that im missing? If anyone knows anything please respond....
