The Emperor I started the thread in the tavern, DoL obviously thought it would be nice if all the lads in the throne room got to hear about it too.
BTW, my wife is called Joy, which is why DoL kept using the word Joy in his post http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Baby isn't due for a while yet, for those who don't know, D-Day is 6th June (literally!http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, but I have been really busy lately and I still haven't downloaded the patch http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Congratulations Mount http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Hope the cost of a unit of royal knights doesn't bankrupt you, or the cost of fancy dresses if it's a princess

GAH
I ain't sending no sprog of mine to college so they can spend 3 years sat on their backside drinking hideous amounts of beer whilst spouting a load of socialist claptrap Oh, and costing me tens of thousands of pounds at the same time
Nope, finish school at 16, then off to work, preferably down t'pit, where they can learn the hard way at the university of life, school of hard knocks http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Still don't know the sex, and I STILL haven't d'loaded the patch I *nearly* did it the other day, but saw the 3.9MB file size and ran off screaming http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I *might* try and do it Saturday morning before I go and see the 1030 showing of ROTK.
Mrs Suribachi is desperate for a princess, mainly so she can play dollys with it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Heirs grow up to be smelly & hairy and they make rude noises all the time (if they're anything like me anyway http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif )

Do you guys have any preferences for names?

01-25-2004, 12:05
I like Boaz for a boy, she hates it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif I am almost certain we'll call him Benjamin if its a boy (probly with Boaz as a middle name, baby B.B :D )
For a girl, I like Rachael or Leah, she says they are too common. She likes Charis. If its a girl, we could be a while with names.......
Congrats Mount naming babies is another headache hehehehe
Cheers http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cheers.gif

Congrat's Suribachi
How's the pregnancy going?
Has for time spent at the forum's....don't worry, with all the sleepless night's you'll soon be having, and 20 hour shifts between work and the baby...the other 4 hours you will spend checking on the baby can be alternated with a visit or two to the ORG.... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-jester.gif

Posted by Mount Suribachi in the frontroom. This is very welcome news and I wish the Dunn family all the best. Congratulations to Neill and Joy Dunn on their healthy (if slightly impatient) baby boy

P.S: I know that for myself, there is a tendency to skip pinned topics. I will be unpinning this temporarily to make sure people see it. Afterwards this topic will be pinned once again.
P.S.S: My next post will be all balloons. The Org apparently limits the amount of emoticons that can be in one post and I seem to have hit that limit. Cutting down on the balloons here...

Hey, what happened to my boys thread? ~;)
I just thought I let you know that I'm raising him to be a good history fan :book:
He turned 2 a couple of months ago. Here he is at Bolingbrooke Castle, reading up on its history
http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/myfuji/image_bank/223003/744x558/ce0b4f30b7ce1b9dc605a5cc8483b39f_223003.jpg
And here he is at Old Sarum fort in Wiltshire. He enjoys the fact that mum and dad are members of English Heritage - gives him lots of space in old castles to run around in :laugh4:

I took my daughter to a festival in shrewsbury at a roman fort.
She was about 4/5 and I thought she would like the horse :dizzy2:
That was a big mistake, way to much noise.
Celtic warriors shouting and banging swords on shields.
We missed the horses.......
I will try again this summer I think, might take her up to hadrians wall or bath :2thumbsup:
