Hey Gothic_war_monkey, welcome to the Org http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
As for your question - if you mean the buildings which you can see on the battlefields, then I suggest you contact with guys creating ME:TW mod as they were going to make the tower of Isengard and also other imortant for middle earth buildings.

lol thanks, metw is the only mod im really interested in and the reason i wanted to know is that im making some levels for when it comes out. I just didnt want to bother those guys as they are all really busy and wasnt sure whether they were getting into buildings.
Thanks a lot for that information though, I'll ask them on the metw forum

I'm not dessa, but I think I can help.
I think it is possible. If you don't have VI, you should draw that unit on the already available bifs. If you have VI you can make some new bifs (custom0 -> custom9), as KekvitIrae did in her mod (using custom0 for knights SaintGeorge). If you create totally new units, I guess you'll need some artistic skills and a lot of patience.
More info can be found on the following links:
a first step: creating new units with old bifs: http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....;t=7563 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=7563)
look at the 6th post
a second step: unit animations: http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....t=10137 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=26;t=10137)
a third step: graphics: http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin....;t=9968 (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=9968)
A lot more can be found at this forums, take a look around, they're great
