JANOSIK, this is an unusual topic that I didn't know exactly what I was supposed to be looking for. There was no context for the post and I think that is why no one was commenting. Maybe if you started off by telling us a little bit as to why you think it is cool, we might know what to look for - and, in this case, listen for. There is an audio page, so is there a particular piece of music demonstrates the beauty of the Fujara? How about a little background and maybe how it ties in with you personally (if it does).

Just some thoughts.

Well I thought to my self what a wonderfull thing it is to present something historical and cultural to the post. I didn't post anything because there's already plenty of information about the instrument on the web. What I was interested was a cultured response (usually people are awed by such an unusual thing and it's right in their backyard if you live in Europe).

I certainly didn't expect some ten year old brat disgracing something so prized to a whole culture.

I have kind of wished that the discussion would sprung up on its own, with me as a sort of a guid.

Didn't you at all feal some amazement that something like this exists? and sounds so unique?
