STW WE 1.02 beta

Hi.My game goes back to desktop with no error message when i am playing the final battle in the Kublai Khan campaign.I have no trouble with the 1st 3 battles.I have a P4 2.8gkz,ge force 440mx 128mb video card,running directx9.Any help would be great.

Have you played any of the other historical campaigns yet? If your problem is what I think it is, the WE 1.02 patch caused crash problems with several of the historical campaign battles. The solution is to reinstall WE without the patch and play the historical campaigns.

I remember completing the Tokugawa campaign without problem before the patch came out. When I went back to play the (third?) battle again with the patch installed, the battle crashed after about 2 minutes everytime. Reinstalling WE without the patch enabled me to refight that battle without crashing.

IIRC, there are two battles in the Kublai campaign that have the crash problems too. Sounds like you found one of them.
