i want to play as the scotish rebels , but don't know how.

AFAIK there are no cheats to do that.

You'll have to mod your game. Search/ask around to learn how to do it.

I believe .conan. allows you to play the rebel factions.

Good point Puzz, but it doesn't allow you to play just the Scots if that is what king steven is after.

the cheat is .conan. without the . It places you in command of every rebel province all across the entire map, so you won't be just the Scots. Just enter it at any time and voila you are the rebels

You get all the cheats to work the same way.

For this one: at your keyboard type .conan.

That's it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif There is no box to contain the text; no cursor flashing somewhere on the screen. For most of the cheats there is a sound to tell you when it is typed in correctly.

.deadringer. money cheat gives sound of coins
.unfreeze. an heir is borne cheat gives sound of baby
.worksundays. quick build cheat gives sound of hammering and sawing
