I am trying to edit hashishin to be more accurate, because after i do all that work and get 12 little bowmen i at least want them to be able to hit there targe {which they havnt been doing l8ly. so I suspect it is the one called "ninja star" but i have no way of knowing.

In your unit_prod file there is an entry which tells you which projectile the unit uses. just look for this entry for the hashishin, then edit that one in the projectilestats

Hashishin use the Shortbow (SBOW), the same as every other foot archer besides Longbowmen. The Ninjastar is unused but can be edited to make another bow. Wes did this in his MedMod to imitate a composite bow that he gave to all eastern archers, like they were supposed to have according to their descriptions. Just edit the range, accuracy, lethality etc to be what you want, and then assign it to who you want.
