Would anyone like more new buildings and agents in MTW?

Lets say for example, ur campmap goes for yonks and yonks and you have some spare cash and want to spend up big to boost your Royal Ego, why not fork out on new buildings and new agents??

Here's a few ideas:
Market (for domestic commerce) increase happiness (10%)
Marketplace increase happiness and income (20% and x florins)
Market Forum increase happiness and income (30% and x florins)

Grand Palace 8000 florins to build -5% happiness
Palatial Complex 20000 flor. -15% happiness
Royal Palatial Quarter 40000 flor. -30% happiness
Why not have negative happiness?? what peasants likes forking out for palaces?

Imperial Gynaecum: for training Noblewomen

Specific buildings for specific factions:
Eg. induces happiness, brings a bit of money and increases zeal
Hagia Sophia
Al-Azhar Mosque
Dome of Rock
Great Mosque of Damascus
Alhambra
Aachen royal palace
Lateran Palace
San Marcos

Agents:
Noblewoman: trained to be suitable potential wives for Royal Princes - or can be used diplomatically to shore up alliances 30000 florins to train, 5 years to train requires Imperial Gynaecum thingy - they're worth every penny since they ensure your dynasty, forever and ever and ever. And don;t forget the vanity too.

Concubine: Many leaders in the Muslim East were of Concubine mothers...wouldn't hurt to have them since they can't have princesses....

Monk/Assasin: An assassin trained in the disguise of a monk, knows how to talk the talk of a monk and stab the stab of an assassin. Preachees and kills too, versatility....

Missionaries: A group of preachers who can go around provinces and set up a base to spread their faith. Their ability to convert is greater than a single preacher or religous figure because they travel in groups rather than as individuals.

Patriarch: Provided you control yourself and train 5 Pats max. You can place them in the 5 traditional Patriarchal cities of Rome, Antioch, Constantinople, Jerusalem and Alexandria.
Available to the Pope and Byzantium. Set up rival Patriarchs and assasinate the scum Latin/Orthodox Patriarch.

Jezebels: nice looking heretics. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

If I changed the game it would take it the other way. I would look to cut out some of the detail and try to re-balance the domination version. Maybe to adopt the Civilisation approach and make loyalty/happiness steadily harder to achieve as an empire grows.

And I would look to give some little rewards to the player along the way - video clips or praise from an adviser or some ornament to his or her empire. Something to give additional satisfaction to making progress - merely taking yet another province or getting one building closer to being able to train Swiss Pikemen gets a bit samey after a campaign has been in progress for a while.

Agree. I think the spearmaker, bowyer, horse breeder, swordsmith and some more buildings should be removed or replaced by regional development buildings. So instead of focusing on spearmen in one region, archers in another, knights in a third etc. you can train them all in every region but of better quality as the province develops. I see many advantages with this:
1)Far fewer buildings; less micro-management.
2)More balanced AI-armies
3)Less quality-difference between AI armies and Human armies
4)More realism

-Castles could be the development buildings for feudal/regional troops: Knights and poor quality infantry
-Town_watch buildings: Better quality militia infantry
-Royal Court buildings: Professionals and mercs
