View Full Version : Does anybody know the Day it's supposed to be out?
I don't know where to look and anyways homepages tend not to be up-to-date sometimes so they maight not have changed the day if there has been a delay. So, does anybody know the vague date?

It's a long wait but from what I've seen of TC. It'll be worth it.
The official site totalwar.com said that "fall 2004" is target release date. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

well by next fall we should be within the mid 4Ghz range processor speed and the next generation of Graphics cards should be out as well as for RAM - has RAM changed in the last few years much? the more the better http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
personally im not upgrading till April maybe June depnding on the release date of the next gen of Graphics cards which is constantly in a state of flux (ie the cowards wont say http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif )

Fall 2004 eh? Taking into account that it will be pushed back at least once (it has to, it's a rule http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif )... it would probably be 1st Q of 2005... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

Although I was as disapointed as the rest, wasn't that more down to the STUPID EVIL HACKERS http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif than Valve?
Or an inside leak of the source code. Something like the source code doesn't casually get hacked into.

I believe the CA, they are a most decent bunch of people, this scheduled release (fall 2004) will probably be held.
As for specs, I believe that you won't be needing no monster machine for this baby, though I will restrain myself from any guessings
