Removing Land Bridges

How does one remove the various land bridges? I am thinking specifically of the one connecting Dover to Flanders.

I believe there are a few posts on this in the Dungeon. Try a search there.

You edit the early.txt file. Under borderinfo (or something close to it) you find flanders and wessex, with a listing of all bordering provinces. Remove the offending connection for both and you're set.

Do the same for morocco, grenada and cordoba for more realism, but remember that this can have a significant impact on the game (mostly for the almos and the english).
