Currently, I'm playing the English (Early). My King (William II, I think) just croaked at 72 -- amazing life-span for the 1100's Our main rival, the Byzantine King, gave up the ghost at the same time (and I think he was the same age). Who was your oldest monarch?

In recent times that would be 56...

In the old days I had a monarch reach 80 I think. Unfortunate since he'd been excommed since turning 60. The old goat just wouldn't croak.

Once I had a Byzantine Emperor who died at the age of 87. Most of my kings reach their 60's.
