View Full Version : Utility to browse and compare units ?
Hi all,
Is there some utility (either online or a program to download) that can conveniently view unit data and stats and possibly compare several units in a table-like way ?
There use to be this website TotalWarAssembly, I think, that had this covered pretty well but it seems to be gone now. Anything similar to that ?
Thanks.

best place I've come across is the Clan Beserk units tool.
It's listed on the right hand side under clans on the Org frontpage.
Hi there http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Check at the front page this page http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/Tools.shtml , try gnome editor v2.0
Heres the Clan Berserk Compare Tool (http://shogun.cafe24.com/medieval/).

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Howdy doody barvaz. In dork-speak that means hello.
Alas, poor Total War Assembly. We tried to save it but it was not meant to be. It was a great site.
Thanks for the pointers but niether Gnome nor the Clan Berserk tool is quite what I had in mind.
The Gnome editor, while probably making the task of editing much easier, doesn't allow to view it conveniently. The tool on Clan Berserk's is done very nicely but I was looking for something that can show the data in a table or grid, where several units can be compared, filtered or even sorted by specific field.
Anyway, I guess that such a tool doesn't exist so I'll have to get by with what is available or maybe do something of my own, if it bothers me too much.
