I'd just like to say some minor unitinbalances......
Basically warrior monks are way too effective vs. yari samurai... they usually kill about 40 before rout of Ys and lose 1 man http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
(v0 WM ws. v2 Ys)
Then No-Dachi seems to lose to yari samurai...... with 24 YS left http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
(v1 ND vs. v2 Ys)
And arqs/musks are way too weak......
They even got a WM unit down to 57

Well most of this is coppied from original STW so that means that the Warrior Monks are real good, and No-Dachi suck. Also the gun weakness is due to the projectile stats, just check the Dungeon.
