I can't really play with out sound. The war cries are usefull to let you know when someone charges. Besides I love the 'whipped dogs' line. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif

You can modify the sound files (search the forum for the method, it's in here somewhere) so the battlefield comes alive with heart-rending fury!
