This Statswapper has all versions in it, including the v1.05 Stats, it also deals with the XP problem.

It's now available on the files page of the Masterless website.

Very user friendly and it's 100% bug free.

Many thanks to Toga http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Those sig's will be too big to use I'm afraid Kas (in file size I mean, of course.)

Yes, the pix were meant for use in the other forums, where activity is not so intense.

np m8 http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif . It was you who first brought the idea to mind in the foyer that night a while back. When I downloaded a mappack from here and saw the last page of the installer's dialog box, I discovered the Clickteam installer (thanks Tosa). Then I decided I could even resurrect my DOS batch programming skills and modify the swapper to include v1.05, and make it a bit easy to read, use, and troubleshoot.

All in all, it was an effort to reduce the amount of time I spend helping people get their patches sorted in the foyer, so I could play a bit more. I stimluated some atrophied skills in the process. Forgot how fun it is to make stuff, particularly things that might be helpful to others.

You are a nice guy Kas to suggest such a thing, but all I did was package stuff up in an installer and make some very minor modifications to the existing swapper. The real credit goes to the developers of the stat mods and original swapper (*bows*).

I already have my award, knowing that in a small way I have been able to help others get up-to-date with their patches and ready for battles a bit easier than before. Many have expressed their thanks to me directly in the foyer, and that is plenty fine.

TogakureOjonin,

I think this repackaging of the swapper into an installer will be very helpful for players because the install of the swapper has always been a bit confusing since it will install to any folder and appear to be working even when it's in the wrong place. Also, it's getting tough for a new player to get a v102 game these days, since many players are now using the v103. So, getting up to speed quickly with v103 will be a big help in retaining new players. And lastly, the v105 is definitely worth a try. The v103 Japanese units are unchanged in v105, but the Mongols were improved by MizuToda since they were relatively weak in v103. It's a major challenge to take Japanese vs Mongols in v105.

Thx Toga.

Thank YOU, Y ... Puzz3D. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Some friends of mine from the US and I have been playing at night (PST), and as there are usually 3 of us, we try some different scenarios. We've had GREAT fun playing 2v1 105 Mongol games, where two players would attack as Mongols with a 12 unit limit each, splitting Koku, and the Japanese defender gets 16 units, full koku, and a hill (Orda's maps are GREAT for these games, particularly OB Horselands and OB River Crossing--thanks Orda ). The games have always been very close, and often times the Japanese defender wins in these scenarios (but sometimes not ... hehe). A few times we even forgot and brought 16 units each as Mongol attackers, and STILL lost. We usually play using 8,000-10,000 Koku as the Mongol units are so expensive. We have enjoyed the experience immensely (and none of us particularly liked Mongol games before trying 105).

MONGOL LIGHT CAV ROCK And H5 Korean Guardsmen are mondo killas too (though a pretty penny to buy). And those frickin' Thunderbombers .... GAH Much fun. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Surely OB horselands and river crossing were made by Obake Date?

Nice work on the statswapper btw http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Oops didn't know that ... well, I like your maps too Orda http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. Sorry Obake san, if you're out there somewhere. Very nice maps.
