Need a little help with the Mods

Please, explain me how those Mods are suppose to use.
Example, I would like to have a WesMod, but they are many of them, 1.1 and 3.13 and so on.. Should I install all of them? Do everyone of them have a different units? Or does the new one includes those older ones?

if you have the VI (viking invasion) then you should download 3.13.

but if you don't have VI (only MTW 1.1) then you should get v 1.85 of the mod.

i am not so sure where the other versions are, but i think 1.85 is here at the .org, try looking in the downloads section.

edit: also, medmod changes MTW drasticaly adding both new factions and new units, therefore i suggest that before you install the mod you consider that the AI might kick your butt a few times, (it has done so to me many times http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ) as there are no more peasant armies
