The Org homepage (kind of) down?

I've been trying to enter the org's homepage many times today but it would not open for me. No error or anything, the website loads so far as to the top banner (Value click or something) and launches Lords or EQ popup. Then it stops (displays 'done' at the bottom of the page, no progress).

Anyone having this problem or it's just me? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

It's showing ok for me now, maybe the host is doing something on the server?

This sometimes happens to me but only when I log on from work. Reloading the page always helps in the end but it may take 2 or 3 attempts. It might be the pop-up commercial messing with things but I really don't know.

I've experienced the same thing a few days back (the pop-up wouldn't load and therefor Windows XP shut both the pop-up and the org-page down.

But it seems to have stopped now.

i get it as well at times,
lately on lords of everquest ads,
seems to take over loading priority and does not give it back to the org page..

Thanks for your replays. I seem to be stuck with that problem today, too. I'll keep on trying relentlessly though and perhaps someday I will be awarded with a pass allowing me to enter the website http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

That used to happen to me two when I used to try to get out of the advertisments before the org popped up and I would always have trouble just have patience let the advertisment sink into your head and then go on

Yes, but that was the problem. The advertisement wouldn't load, and then when I tried to shut it down, nothing happened. Windows XP had to do it for me, and it switch both the ad and the org off. But not the other internetpage I was viewing.

Weird stuff really. I changed my LAN settings (I'm usualy at work during the day when I'm connected to the Internet) so that is uses Proxy server. Bang It worked http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif - the Org page loaded beautiful as it is.

Than was yesterday, though. Today, I am back to where I had been - the page won't load http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pissed.gif .

The reason why I want to access the site so much is that I needed to download 'year 1454 fix' file http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif. I actually managed to download the file yesterday but it seems corrupted Damn it. In error message it says that there is an error in packet file (sichttp://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif).

My question/request to the most helpful members of the Org then: could someone email me the file of give a link to teh fix, please? Alternatively, could someone please explain how to change the game's end date? (yes, I have searched for it)
