Before I begin working on this, has anyone tried to add the new buildings, etc... into the regular MTW campaigns to expand the early period into a pseudo dark period?
I have aleady copied the portraits over to the main game, but the new buildings would really give us a dark ages feel. Especially for the Pagan factions.

I've seen several mods that moved buildings from VI into the regular MTW campaign and Barocca's Shogun mod for MTW has an entirely new tech tree. Based on that I suppose you can add anything you want up and to a point, however, I don't know if they can be entirely new or if you must substitute them for something in the existing tech tree. I'll copy this over to the dungeon where the modding masterminds are lurking an see if we can't get you a more definitive answer. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Thanks,
I guess what I am really after here is a CRUSADER_BUILD_PROD13.TXT file that has the VI Warrior Hold, Stockade, Fortified Village added to the CASTLE entry. In effect it would be adding three more upgrades.
I can't get the numbers quite right, if someone knows of a mod that has already done this...I would really appreciate it.
I have already added the Pagan Shrines.
