Question 1: Is there a way I can get a complete list of vice/virtues?

Question 2: I flooded a French province with Alims and got the Islamic religion up to 94% but it still hasn't rebeled, do i have to get it up to 100% before it will? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif

1. Loc\Eng\Changes - has at least a partial list of V&Vs. You do have to scroll down a bit.

2. I don't believe I've ever caused a religious rebellion through the use of priests since I installed VI. The only religious rebellions I see are in response to new owners with a different religion.

No idea on the first question sorry, still relatively new myself here :-)

however on teh second, the way I understand it, is the reason that you try and convert the population of a region is to enable you to then invade without suffering religious rebellions. What you also have to remember is that religious belief itself, is only one factor to a populations happiness and hence they may be happy to be ruled by by someone of a different faith, ie this is most likely to occur int eh scenario you described, you convert the whole of wessex to the muslim faith, they have been ruled most happily by a catholic english king for 100 years or so, their conversion in faith may/will lower their loyalty but there should be enough other factors to keep them content. however, should you then as a muslim ruler invade and take wessex, then the populace will probably welcome you with open arms as well, being a supporter of their own faith, and will then judge you on how you run the province.

Whever attempting to take over an opposing religions region towards the end game, i alsways try and send religious leaders in first as a prelude to an invasion, and from the game Ive played, the AI seems to do a similar thing, hence i get a bit of a warning to impending invasions, altho of course as soon as i move troops from say wessex to mercia, of which 94% of the population now worship a a giant rabbit called Nigel, the Ai will decide well if he wants to keep mercia that much i'll invade wessex.

Oh well gotta love this game even if I'm not very good at it and still too scared to move onto the HARD level :-)

Rebellion relies on loyalty.

The type of rebellion will be effected by factors such as religion. And yes if you have a different religion to the populace loyalty will go down.

However they may have many +ve loyalty bonuses.
