WHAT IS IT WITH NTW?

I am new here but have been playing the game for months.
I friend of mine told me that if you have the Viking expansion pak (which i do) you can download Napoleonic total war. He doesn't have the expansion so he hasn't tried it (NTW). Could you please tell us a little more, i.e., what do you mean by it didn't work? What happened or didn't happen?

Well I would need to know some more information what version of NTW did you download? have you downloaded any updates? are you installing NTW over a clean copy of MTW VI 2.0 or 2.1 you can contact me directly for NTW support, we also have our own NTW forums here

thanks for repliing. I have The viking expansion pak already but no other add on the things. I downloaded it into the same folder as the rest of my stuff. Do i have to put the filel in a special please or something? and where will i see if it has worked?
