Ya thats the one it's supposed to be good there are also camelot, hellenic and roman mods too i believe the nap is the best though although i have never used it. If you want to know how to do one yourself i suggest you download those and find out who made them and just e-mail them for a few pointers as it is probally to complex to disscuss on the message board

I am part of the Team that put together the Nap Mod or NTW as we like to call it, let me know what version you downloaded and if you are installing over a clean copy of MTW Viking Invasion, and I will try and help you get it working... to answer your question yes you can make a mod look totally different then the existing eras, but as GB pointed out it is very time consuming and a bit lenghty to discuss here, I suggest you take the time to look through the files for NTW and you can see the many changes that were made, then do some serious reading of the vast amount of modding knowledge stored here in the Dungeon, then try a simple mod of your own, you dont want to start with a mod as labor intensive as NTW, this has taken a team of modders many months to brig to this stage, so again start small and work your way up, modding MTW is a most enjoyable hobby, if I can help with anything else please let me know...LOS

Thanks. I downloaded NTW_MOD_b103? if that means anything to you and yes it is over a clean version of VI. Do I need to put it in a certain file or anything? Is playable in Campaign mode?

I read xome of the stuff in the dungeon and managed to get my own little age going (though it is just like frühes Mittelalter (early middle ages?)). I read the one about how to make your unit but i found it to complicated and couldn't get it too work http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

Anyway thankyou for offering to help.
