Historical Campaign Crashes [Archive]

I am running STW:WE with the 1.02 patch.
Here's what happened: Went to Historical Campaigns, then to Oda Nobunaga, then to Nagashino. Everything goes smoothly to this point and I get the battle screen, "Survey your troops,etc., then when I click begin...
CRASH!!!
This has happened on a couple of these type battles. I completed the Oda, Tokugawa, and all but one battle in Hideyoshi before I upgraded to patch. Maybe this effects it.
I don't know. Anyone else have this problem?

This is a known issue when running V1.02 of the patch. There are multiple threads on it in the Tech Dojo (although u need to go back about 6 months). Erado indicated that he let CA know, but its doubtful that they will ever address it as they lack the manpower. They were made aware of it some time ago, and no action has been taken on it so.... draw your own conclusions.
