Are you asking about the tech tree that shows the breakdown required to build each unit and building? If so, it is located in .PDF form on the VI cd and in the directory where you installed MTW. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Go to the thread A beginner's guide to Medieval:Total War. In the first posting, by frogbeastegg, you will find links to download sites for an information pack which includes fully printable and correct tech trees for the Catholics, Orthodox and Muslim factions in MTW and one for VI (the VI .pdf tree contains errors). There is also a comprehensive list of unit type and their availability. Similar links can be found on the .com forum in Mod Links.
