Custom Battles

I'm not sure what forum this belongs in, or if I can post in that forum... Anyways...
Simple question really, but its quite annoying for me...
Is there any way to create a custom battle which has generals with ranks (9 stars perhaps...) or units with +4 armour and weapon upgrades or higher valour.
If there is a simple way to do this in-game it would be very much appreciated if you could tell me.
If it requires editing a few text files I could do that also...

On your question I do not know how you can MOD it that way. But I do know that the Command Rating mainly effects unit valor (and this rarely goes above 4 for most units in an army).

As such buying more Valor for each individual unit is a compensation... Weapon and Armour upgrades are also possible.

I'm sure some of our hardcore modders will be able to help you out and let you know if such things can be changed or if they are indeed hardcoded in.

You cannot buy rank for your generals in custom battles. All you can buy is valour, armour and weapon. The best you can have is v4a4w4. If you want even higher of any of these then you have to edit the .adf (army description file) of the historical battles. By editing the .adf files you can change any of the above propeties and the composition of the armies as well.
