Hey everyone. How have you all been. It's been awhile since I've been here. Any old faces still around? Anyway I'm back becasue I'm getting my new computer in about a week, its been orderd and everything. This means I will finally be able to play Medieval again, and Rome when it comes out aswell

Whats new? Any new sweet mods I should look into? Rome updates? People updates? lol. I'm out, but I'll be back this time

PS: The computer we bought is an ALienware Extream edition modded even stronger (3.2ghz intel pentium 4, 160gb ram, GeForce 5950 video card, etc. etc. etc.)

My father and I split the cost. Ya its a sweet ride. We thought about building one but my dad decided it would just be less hassel and easier to upgrade in the furture if we bought one. Alienware is fully upgradable from everypoint and nothing is intergrated. They also sell their parts cheapre to us becasue we bought one of their PC's.

yes, a new computer is always fun. I just mentioned to the fellow moderators I'm expecting a new computer, too
here's what I got (http://www.go-l.com/desktops/machl38/features/index.htm) and the monitor (http://www.go-l.com/monitors/grand_canyon/features/index.htm), hopefully it should be able to play RTW without any problems.

I finally broke down and upgraded my old 800mhz P3 this week. I bought an ASUS mb and a 2.8ghz P4 and lots of memory. I didn't realize I would need a new power supply with the 12 volt plug until I had all the parts in and it wouldn't turn on. Oh well, ran out and got a Truepower 430 and turned on the comp and it was perfect. Man is it fast And all for under $600. I already had an ATI 9700 Pro Radeon and a good HD.

Sacred Fecal Material, Soly

You'd best put that lovely behind bars and never let anyone in the neighborhood know its there, or the whole world will be over to try to do you out of it

Dmn Now I've got PC envy again http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Ahhhhh.....

A-r-e y-o-u f-o-r r-e-a-l???

OMG I'm having a wet dream

It's going to take me an entire day to study that system, and an entire week to accept the fact that I cannot buy such a thing now. A house and a BMW M3 are my material goals for the next 2 years. Ahhhhhh

Actually, the monitor is just what I've been thinking of for the last few months. When I build my new Half-Life 2 system, I was seiously planning on purchasing an Apple 21" LCD monitor, which I fell in love with perusing the Apple store at Roosevelt Field. I've been talking myself into it for a year. But that 45" monitor might jut be the ticket

Dude are you really buying the system and the monitor? Talk about shock and awe

BTW, how'd you find out about it all?
