do something really special.

But instead of doing that..do something much better than that.....jump over to the HABA (honour and battle awards) site and give your choices of who should be voted for...

you never know it could be you!

are the old masters still respected?
who will get the best newcomer award... what is the great rivalry that shogun has seen?... who do you fear the most?.. what clan is the bestest most clanny clan clan ( or something like that).. you can pick clans and players from now or the past... so vets and newbies alike can earn the prize we all want.....'A GIANT BAR OF CHOCOLATE'..nope... respect and thanx from those who we kill each night or who kill us!?!?!

You're right RageMonsta, Yari cav can beat yari samurai. But first you have to bring down their morale (they dont have to much) and after that charge in them from behind. It works, as soon as they run, they all are dead. Won't work online cos only the AI is so stupid to turn their back to a YC.

Ah, yes the award is a good idea. Really. Better than the Oscar, cos Oscar means nothing. Even Titanic got some. LoL.

Yari cav will beat Yari foot in any of the following circumstances:

A) A race http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
B) Attacking routed troops (nobody rallies with yari cav breathing down their necks!)
C) Attacking ranged troops
D) Use overwhelming numbers of yari cav to attack the yari foot from all sides
E) Use another unit to attack head on, and then flank with the cav - I recommend using WM for this - and don't send in the cav in for a while (like until they're all dead or running http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif)
F) Charging down a really steep hill into them - if there aren't too many, and their morale is bad initial casualies may cause a rout.
