the year is 1400. My brother deicided to take order in his own hands witch lead a massive rebelion. loyity droped horribly. ( 200 to below 100)..A heire from germany has riasen up and made allies with my brother. My navy has beenn sunck.. my income is no longer ... my dear brother... what have you done...

grrrr... yes.. I was sooooo close. all i really needed was the north and italy and I would have won. MY brother decided to take a good empire and turn it inside out. I lost. grrrrr..rrrr... has this hapen to any of you before?

There was, however, a similar situation once. Not with the HRE, but with the Almhoads (Early, GA).
I was at peace for about 50 years, using high taxes, and despite having a massive army, I was gaining quite a lot of money due to taxes and trade.
Then the AI factions (Danes and after that Papacy) decided I was too big for confort and attacked me http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
Needless to say, I lost most trade income, I got blockaded all over the place, and my King couldn't move to increase the low loyalty of the populations of my empire. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
I spent 6-7 years crushing rebellions, while trying to gain naval domination. About 20 rebellions each year http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
All this, while defending against the Danes, Papacy and trying to keep the other factions from taking sides... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

All of my campaigns except for one have ended with me expanding to about 50% of the map, then being attacked by every single faction bordering me. My first game ever (as the spanish) I had expanded to England, France, HRE, Poland, North Africa, and parts of Italy. Then the Turks (who owned EVERYTHING that I didn't except for the Papacy's lands) attacked me. I was doing ok, but the Pope was plotting against me. Slowly he expanded into the Turks land, and then the POPE became the Strongest military might He owned from HRE(which I had lost to the Tukrs) to Constantinople and everything in between. He broke his alliance with me and attacked me. Well, needless to say Iwas excommunicated and had many rebellions. The game ended in 1456 with the Pope being the largest nation in Europe. Go figure.

Had a civil war today...

Playing as HRE, right after I recovered from destroying the French and repelling the Hungarian invasion, my 5 star king dies of old age, one star heir messes up and rebelions are on the way. Funny thing though, I've lost four provinces, but immediately after the rebelion my position was stronger than before Less armies to support and I've lost only poor income provinces, which I have regained within max of five turns, but with greater overall balance of all my produced troops and reduced support costs. It made me think of my old economics professor who used to say that little war is good from time to time in order to rebuild the land a new

My 9 star gen died when the germans/rebels both fought me.. i was out numbers. 3000 (mine) to around 1400 rebels and 4000 germans.. that was my only tickit back.. and he died. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Just go to this page to upload your pictures:

Then you need to wait for the ORG moderators to put your pictures in this page:

After beeing available, you just need to put the adress with the image button.
