Greetings Jcccc, If you would be so kind as to provide more information on your problem?, First it would help to know some info on your PC, as much as possible, also detail exactly what you did re: install and what error or errors you are getting, the more details you provide the better chance you will get a solution thanks...LOS
i have 192.0 ram a pentium 2 processer and my computer can play games such as simcity 3 1503 stronghold crusader and stuff I install the game and when i click the icon to open the game it says i had done an illeal operation something to do with the shogun.exe file. i downloaded the patch 1.11 aand now it shows the shogun logo and like looks like its going to start but says i need to put in the cd and its already in im thinking about downloading a no cd crack code or something will that help? or buy a new shogun game.

I think I'd try an uninstall and then reinstall the game and then the patch first. You also might want to re-download the patch to make sure it isn't corrupted. Maybe someone else has another approach to fix the problem.
I gather that went it asks for the CD, you've already tried ejecting and reinserting the CD, but it still doesn't recognize the CD.
BTW, which version of Windows are you running? DirectX version? Graphics card?
Is it a real retail version or a copied version?
have you got your windows up-to-date? Some windows patches make a big difference on what can and can't run (Just try playing Age of Mythology without the AMD driver patch for windows XP and you'll see!http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Reinstall, delete all custom modifcations you have done, dont change any files, etc. Beyond that...Get a new PC? Pentium 2...Tops at about 400mhz IIRC, not what you want to be playing Shogun on m8 :/
