excessive screen menu flicker

Has anybody else expereinced excessive screen flicker in menus? The rest of the game is fine just the menus are a problem but if somebody else has had the same problem were you able to rectify it?

Yes, Ive noticed wierd effects like that when Ive forgotten to turn off antialiasing and/or anisotropic filtering before starting MTW.

yes i had this problem. i fixed it by either increasing the screen refresh rate or decreasing it, im not sure which hehe. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif try messing around with it though. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

yeah, if that doesnt work then try upgrading your graphics card. hmm.. probly need to do that even if it does work. so download the latest updates for your graphic card and mess around with your refresh rate, should fix it. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/bigthumb.gif

Do be careful about upgrading device drivers though. There has been a good deal of talk around here about how the latest nVidia drivers don't like M:TW one bit.
