CRASH

[The Seven Fists]

I seem to be having problem with my game. It is not loading beyond once u have chosen your faction and started the game.
A green line appears top of the screen and then crash.

I have a gforce 4 with the latest driver downloaded. I have also downloded the game patch 1.1

specs:
P4 2ghz
512 MB
128MB GFORCE 4




Please advice any further.

I've seen others comment that the latest drivers for the GeForce cards doesn't work well with MTW. Have you been able to play the game before you had the latest drivers or did you just get the game?

The funny thing is before i got my new monitor and new soundblaster card the game use to work fine. Maybe it something to do with the soundcard or maybe not. The game wasnt working before the new gforce driver.

a gf4 what? g4 mx xxx? gf4 4200? gf4 4600?

if it's a series of diagonal green lines on a black screen, this is a vid card driver issue. if it's a solid straight horizontal line, it's prolly also a driver issue.

Not that this is relate to much, butI find the soundcard hinders/strengthens the performance of the game almost as much as the video card.

For me its hinders, whats worse is sometimes the soundcard goes nuts and starts playing all themusic as one giant ... farting noise. Hmn yeah Battle Music

I use the 53.03 drivers and DX9 on my GF4Ti card.
