anyone intrested in making historical maps campaigns just punch in search for cartography/middle ages/asia/roman/greek/europe/middle east/persia/.and being more specific crusades roman empire/hannibal/mongols/china/japan/various factions or any era your interested in. and you can get maps with battle info/invasion routes/ city positions/ respective power bases example middle east crusaders strongholds/muslim strongholds/. colour coded maps showing various faction postions or any relevant information regards place names etc from crusader routes mongol routes/ battles land tarpography any thing the purist needs for creating historical/or factual campaign/single player maps.

sun tzui i am logged on to site as i write this thread.
i have had problems with some off the links sometimes? and some that sell historical maps but the majority are fine. the more you dig into the other links the more gems you uncover it seems some of the sites you have to register too like i said i have spent 15 minutes checking various links sites. no problem getting on the site/sites.
hope this clarifys the situation a bit better http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
