It's pretty much the only Middle Earth mod going at this point. A few others were in the process of being made, but they seemed to go up in smoke.

Check out the link that Eastside Character posted above this reply. We even have a beta or two out on release and ready to download. They are good, if I may be so bold, but are nowhere near to what the finfished product will be.

But keep in mind, that do to copyright issues, the mod won't contain any Aragorns, Gandalfs, or any representation of the Fellowship in anyway. It is a mod based on the peoples of Middle Earth, and will contain new units, new camp. map, new everything There will be 8 factions as well.

They are as followed:

1.Gondor
2.Rohan
3.Isengard
4.Mordor
5.Elves
6.Dwarves
7.Mountain Orcs (Goblins, like from Moria and the such)
8.Haradrim (this may change though)

Most of your questions will be answered once you go to the site, but if you have any others, just post them here and a me and a few other of the people involved will do our best to solve them. If you do register at the forums, please do NOT bombard them with questions. Please bear in mind that this mod will take a while to finish.

I hope I didn't scare you there, but the modders arent getting paid for their services and they do have lives outside of this mod that they are doing with the utmost quality.
