Mod descriptions?

Howdy,

Is there someone who can recomend a few of the must-have mods and also be so kind as to describe them. Unless I'm missing something, it seems you have to wait an hour in line sometimes to D/L a mod that has no descrition and then see if you like it or not.

Is there a mod list that says what the mods are? Or if someone could spell a few out it would be appreciated. Thanks.
